Well, it went a little like this. Days before Christmas shopping crowds, a tired AND hungry 2 yr old.....hmmmmmm I was really thinking that this was not going to work but we'll try it anyway, everyone MUST have already had their picture taken with Santa by now, come on NO ONE would procrastinate like I have on this one...right???? WRONG.....you should have seen this line....but it will go fast right, I mean how long can it possibly take sit on his lap click the pic and we're done right????? WRONG again!
So half an hour later I tell O lets just go and see Santa some other time (remember this girl really has no concept of Santa yet anyway) Well, just at that point we turn a corner and can actually have visual sight of the man of the hour! This is where my 2 yr old goes CRAZY! She shouts SANTA!!!!! I SEE HIM! NO mommy I wanna see Santa! No leave line! Well, there it goes we are GOING to see Santa :) half an hour later we are actually within moments of the big sit on his lap and tell him what you would like moment that we have been talking about for weeks now! I go to place my little angel on his lap and OH MY GOODNESS, I swear you would have thought I was going to feed her to hungry wolfs from the cry I got from her and not to mention the death grip....SO what the heck is what I was thinking. Lesson learned seeing Santa is very different than sitting on his lap :)
This is what we got! One would guess that Santa would be used to this kind of reaction from toddlers, but no this Santa was very worried, poor Santa. But after Santa graciously gave her some stickers she did pull it together enough to give him a high five....unfortunitly not caught on camera...
