Our Pumpkin is already half a year old!

So it is official, I have been a mommy for half a year already! I absolutely can not believe it! Time has gone by so fast!

We went to Livi's 6mo well check today and she is one healthy little girl and in the Dr.'s words "she is perfect," well I already knew this but it is official since the pediatrician said so ;)

She is 25in which puts her in the 24% for height (anyone who knows me this is not a surprise) and 15lbs and 9oz which puts her in the 42 % for weight, and her head circumference is in the 72% (anyone who knows Lance this should not be a surprise ;) Plus, she needs all that room for how smart she is and all the extra brains ;)

I am so excited, we get to start food! She has been a champ with the rice cereal (a little constipation from it) once that is gone we will start the oatmeal (should help the constipation) In about 5 days we can start veges and fruit! Yeah! She is getting to be so big! But, it occurred to me tonight while at the gym my carefree days are done....I can't just take her everywhere with me because we have everything that we need....I now need to be home in time for dinner....it is no longer attached to me all the time :(

We have also started to let little miss learn to sleep on her own...this is very hard for Mommy I hate to hear her cry, but luckily she is so nice to mommy and she had been doing very well...although I have been getting up with her once a night for a feeding and the Dr. told us to stop that....it is building bad habits for her...but I still think that she is hungry and what kind of mommy would I be if I didn't feed my baby?!?!?

I can't believe Olivia is almost 6mo old! WOW where does time go?

Well, some new things that she does... she can mostly sit on her own...a spotter is still a good idea :)

She can hold a bottle and feed herself...although she prefers someone else do it for her :) stinker :)

She definitly knows what a bottle is and really wants it when she sees it!

So many new things that I can' t think of right now...but she is getting to be so interactive these days too! She is so much fun!

Olivia 5mo old!

I can not believe it has been five months already! I still feel like we just left the hospital the other day with her!

So most of the pics that I have taken are to show how big she has gotten! For example the swing pics, look at her feet! They dangle off the edge already!

Then, I took pictures of her newest accomplishment! Sitting on her own!

Some others are just what happens when the roads are too icky to drive on and I have nothing else to do but dote on my princess! Well, I did have other things to do but I ignored them all :)

So the teddy bear hat is just too cute! She was a sleepy girl that day (my birthday!) Also, the really cute party dress was her mommy's birthday dress. Then teh bathtub one is her first bath without the mesh thing on it! She loves to splash around!

Happy Valentines day, and 4mo's!

Well, hello everyone!

Livi is by far the best Valentine that Mommy and Daddy has ever recieved and the cutest! She was Grandma and Grandpa's valentine for the day too so Mommy and Daddy actually got to spend some uninterrupted time together today, so what did we do...we bought baby supplies :) We also did some fun couple things too! But, I also can not complain too much since we are very lucky to have so many great people around to help us out all the time!

As for her four month check up...We have a beautiful heatlhy baby girl! She is weighing in at 13lbs 14oz and 24in long! This is putting her at the 25th -50th percentile in height, and the 50th to 75th percentile for weight. I can think of someone else who may have simular stats :) Although she is in a great percentile, it is a little crazy because she really has not grown all that much. For all of you Laugavitz's out there this one will be no surprise for you but her head circumfrence is already in the 75 percentile...oh no...not another Lance head :) But, all in all she is doing excellent! She did great for her "shots," a bit of tears but Mommy held her and she ended up being just fine after some needed love. The Dr. says that we should start to "Freberize," her....this has now become an on going joke in our house, but it just means let her cry at nap and night time routines to let her learn to self soothe...we tried this last night...I cried too...but if it works and we can start sleeping through the night taht would be great and it is a great lesson to learn to self soothe for her too....BUT as of last night this method is not working for our princess :) I asked the Dr. about solid foods and she said not yet, wait until 6mo which is what I wanted to do to, but a small part of me was excited to do something "new," with her...but I am tring to not wish any time away and just enjoy the time we have right now....oh do I love this time too!

So the 4mo pics were taken just as she woke up so that would be why she looks so grogy :)
