So I thought it would be fun to add all the pictures right next to each other to see how we have grown!

O.K. Here they are the last pregnancy pictures! Well, I may take some the day she is born if that is in the plan for us?

But, we have made it! Through many ups and downs, we have made it! It is safe for her to be born any day now, so I am of course hoping for sooner than later :) Today would be ok with me! I have had two people say Thursday is the day! And countless others say any day now probably this week! IF you ask me I do not think that she is coming any day now, I actually think that she will stay in as long as the due date if not further! I do not feel any signs of impending labor at all!

The last Dr. apt went well, the baby looks good and no signs of labor as of now. I do have another apt on Tue. this will also be an ultrasound one! I always love being able to see her! Then, I will have a week of normal visits (2times weekly) then, we will see the specialist agin on Oct 3rd.

As for names, no we do not have any picked out yet? Always open for suggestions! I do feel like things are coming together around here though, I went shopping yesterday and bought a breast pump! For those of you who have been talking to me, this has been a huge topic of stress for me. Therefore, now that I have finally made a decision it feels great to have made the decision! I ended up buying an electric one, which was a surprise to me, after everyones great advice I thought that I would be buying a manual. But, while at the store I made a last minute decision to get the electric double playtex pump. I was sold on this one because it attaches to the bottles that I will be using! So, I couldn't quite make up my mind because of the price and because this product had mixed reviews on-line about 50/50 good and bad. But, the great news is while I was checking out I learned about an option to buy the protection plan for like $8 and this will cover anything that I am dissatisfied with the pump and will give me my money back! So, then it was a no brainer for me! But, anyway, I was saying that I have gotten everything together for the baby and we are just waiting now. Her room is ready, I went shopping yesterday and bought a few of the last minute things! Thank you to those who have given us gift cards as I used them yesterday! I got the pump and an extra car seat base for Lance's car, and a few odds and ends. I do still need somethings, but I am waiting for after she is born for this.

I have also been tring just about anything that I have heard of to induce labor, so any suggestions would be great! I have so far tried eating pesto, spicy food, walking, walking up and down hills, a warm shower, etc. I would love some more suggestions on this too!

I am huge, as you can see in the pictures and I am ready for this baby to be born. I just can't believe how much love you can have for someone you haven't even meet yet. I always knew it was a lot and I had a ton of love for my little Ella and Jack before they were born, but I can't even explain the difference in words! I know it will be just so much more once I hold our little one for the first time too! I just can't wait to see, hold, love, etc. OUR baby!

34 week pictures!

Here is our little one! She was 5lbs even at this dr. apt! I guess they gain about a pound a week for the last few weeks so she is probably about 6lbs by now! I am just 36 weeks today, so maybe 7lbs??? I don't really know but I do know I can't wait to meet her! Lance is also very excited, every time I call him he jumps! :)

But, still no signs of labor here...

This weekend

Hello all!

Well last Friday we went to see the specialist, Dr. Miller, who by the way is an excellent Dr. and I would recommend him to anyone! He was very understanding of our fears and took the time to talk to us, and even put it in "normal people," terms!

The ultrasound is very cool! We even got to see some of her hair! She sure is getting big for that small space! But the good news is with gestational diabetes, babies tend to be bigger, not ours she is still a peanut, 5lbs even! This is about the 30% for this gestational age. Not too small, not too big! Also, she is in head down position, which is a good thing! I do not know if I am dialated or anything like that. The Dr. said that it really doesn't matter because if she came now it would be past the point of fear! Yeah! We made it! Once, I get over to the parent in laws I will get those pics posted.

This past weekend we took the birthing class. This class was completly Lance's idea to take, so we took it. Unfortunatly, he could not make it Friday night, so my mom went with me to that, then Sat Lance went with me! This class was beneficial, but in my opinion very hard to stay awake through. But, the good news is Lance feels more prepaired for the birth (at least one of us does :))

Then, today Lance did his first "gig," painting in a nursery for someone other than family! It was great and I am very proud of his work! I must admit I was a little bit surprised at how good he is :) I know something only a wife can say! The family that he did this for is friends/co-workers of his dad (Dale) and they are one of the most friendly families that I have meet so far in my life! I went with him to keep him company while he did the painting and ended up talking with the woman of the house almost the entire time! ( I don't think Lance minded :)) Anyway, he painted a little teddy bear on the wall with a frame around it so it looks like a hung piece of art and it really looks great! The teddy bear matches the bedding that they plan to use for their little one!

Once again, I hope all is well with everyone and we will keep you all informed! I can't wait for 5 more weeks to post pictures of our little one!

Does it look like I have dropped?

8mo pictures!

O.K so Lance took this picture tonight and I saw it and said WOW! I am huge! I do realize that I see myself everyday and should have already noticed this, but my golly! This picture really works wonders for the baby!

I did go to the Dr. this Tuesday and everything seems to be going well still! Yeah! It has been ten weeks since our scare! Heartbeat is great! Movement is great! And no contractions that are note worthy yet!

We were signed up for a birthing class this past weekend, but did not get to go because I was exposed to fifths disease and I guess that could be pretty dangerous for pregnant woman to be around, so we had to wait for the results of my blood work to come back before I could go to the class full of pregnant woman. This was very sad for me since I was looking forward to going and learning things, but I was even more excited to just have the weekend with Lance, since we both took off of work for the entire weekend! A huge thing to do in this household! But, to my surprise Lance and I still did not work all weekend and devoted the weekend to each other! We were going to go somewhere fun, but this is hard to do when your Dr. orders you to not go more than an hour away...So grandma and grandpa L took Rocko and Noodles for the weekend and Lance and I just kind of were roamers! But, we had a great time doing it and it was great to reconnect! Especially since we hardly see each other as it is!

I am very excited for the next 7 weeks to pass to meet our little one, but Lance...It is so amazing to see how excited he is! He is worse than a little kid at Christmas, he tells me all the time, "I can't wait to be a Daddy!" I just love seeing how excited and devoted he is! He has also been asking for "Daddy time," with the baby while I work, I think that he would love for me to get a full time job out of the child care field so that he can stay home with the little one!

Well, I think that is all for now! I go back to the Dr. on Friday, but I'm sure there will be no news there. But, next Friday, we see a specialist and I guess we get a "special" ultrasound, I do not know exactly what this means, but we are excited to see our little one again! I keep on saying little one, but look at me she looks pretty big! :)
