just a quick update!

Ok, so thank you all who voted for miss O!  Unfortunitly she did not win, but the good news is, if she was not in the contest AND if my bff son was not in the contest, the winner is the one that I would have voted for.

In other news I swear this girl is talking more and more everyday!  Yesterday she said to me aqua....wa wa (water)!  Yes, she did get the connection!  I am a bit bias but she is so darn smart!  One of her newest fav words is "NO"

She is climbing everything, running, and of course getting into everything that she can possibly explore!  She is so funny, she HATES her hands to be cold, but LOVES the snow!  So when outside she is not very happy to be outside, b/c that means cold hands, but she will not go in b/c that means no more snow....  Yesterday was the perfect day for playing in the snow, we had a warm day of 35 degrees!  O had so much fun outside rolling in the snow, making snow angels, and of course her fav eating the snow.  (ANY tips on how to get her to NOT eat the snow....are very welcomed!)

O has very extreme moods, but when she is happy, she is the happiest little girl on the block, her smile could warm jack frost!

O.K. So I have a serious problem with the "baby," book concept! I LOVE wrighting in it and making updates! That is until your child is over the age of one, well then you get an entire page for an entire year! Seriously! I need a book for each year of her life, IF I were smart I would invent that! But, I'm not sure if anyone besides myself is that interested in it, everyone I have vented to about this little issue, has told me it is made that way b/c after a year no one cares to write these things down :( I guess I need to not think that my child is the center of the universe. OR I'll just make a blog :)

Anyway! O is talking soooooooooooo much I swear it is a new word or two each day!
She can now say:

She also can recognize and point out colors, mostly red, blue, and green! Although not on a completly regular basis

She can sign more, out, eat, please, and sometimes thank you!

Hmmmmmmmmm what else can I brag about??? She is quite the climber too! She loves it! She is also very interested in finding out how things work, this should be interesting to see what she decides to be when she grows up! Side note, I wonder when I will decide that ;) Maybe we can do it together!

Christmas Video!

What a great 2nd Christmas!

Well, Santa was wonderful to little miss O! She had so much fun this year (as compaired to last) She still is not so interested in opening the presents (she actually gets kind of frustrated from this process) But man, does she LOVE what is in the presents! After opening the presents at our house, Daddy and I tried to get batteries into one of her gifts (joint effort needed) and noticed it was pretty quiet in the living room, we turned the corner to notice out little princess laying in the middle of the toys, wrapping paper, etc. mess and sucking on a candy cane just enjoying the what is of Christmas (how she opened the candy cane, ?????)! But cute non the less!

We got to enjoy Christmas eve at Grandma and Bapa Laugavitz's house, where O loved olives! She also got very spoiled by all involved here! Where are we going to put all the really cool new gifts!

Then, Christmas morning, we got to enjoy Christmas with just the three of us. We woke up, went to church, came home and I made a very merry Christmas breakfast, and then we enjoyed opening presents! I do not think that in years to come I will be able to prolong the present opening thing until after all the other stuff, we may need to reorginize our list in years to come to present opening first :) After all of the we went to Grandma and Bapa Hansen's house! WOW, presents, people, food, etc! It was quite a busy place! But, once again O got spoiled out of her mind!

All in all what a wonderful Christmas and we are so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends to celebrate with!
