2 mo old!

Hello all!

I am so happy to say little miss is already two months old! A lot has been going on around here lately with Olivia and the holidays.

Olivia had her baptism and she was oh so beautiful! I will post pictures as soon as I get some more from all the people who had taken pictures that day. Unfortunately none were taken with my camera :(

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving that I have already posted about but it was still wonderful!

Olivia turned 2mo old yesterday! I will have to take a picture of her next to her snail that we took at two weeks old again! We went to her two mo check up today and she is very health little girl! She is weighing in at 11 lbs 4 oz and is now 23.25 in! That puts her in the 82nd percentile for her height and the 62nd for weight! She has cute little rolls just about everywhere! Oh and those of you who know Lance...well, she may be taking after her daddy in the head size department...she is in the 67th percentile for head circumference! She did have her two month immunizations today...I think that this was much more traumatic for her daddy than it was for her :) They both cried like babies :) But I love them both regardless. While at the Dr. I got to ask a ton of questions which was great! She also answered all of them with ease and didn't make me feel like a first time mommy :) But, I realized that I needed a lot of new supplies that I didn't already have! Good thing target is right across the street from the Dr. office! So on the list baby Tylenol, KY jelly (yes...for the baby:)), baby oil, baby vitamin D drops (which I had to order..will be in tomorrow), triple paste, hydorcotosone cream, and I'm sure more that I can not think of right now. Babies sure are expensive :) Little miss has very sensitive skin and almost all of the diaper rash ointments are too strong for her, but the Dr. did suggest the triple paste and if that doesn't work to move to the prescription that she gave us. But back to her shots she was a trooper she had 5 total shots and one oral immunization along with some Tylenol for the first time. The look on her face for the tylenol was so funny, each time the nurse gave her some more she seemed surprised that she had something new in her mouth! Then the not so fun part the shots...but she was still cute during that too, the nurse was making her smile so much and then gave her the shot....Her eyes got really big and round and then the lip came out and then the cry. But like I said she only cried for a little bit...her Daddy cried longer than she did :)

Not too much new with Lance or myself that is worth being noted at this time :)Besides that Olivia is really the only one important anymore! :)

I can not think of anything else new for now...So here are some cute pictures to keep you all updated...we were having fun with the camera the other day!

On Sunday our little one was welcomed into our Lord's kingdom! It was a wonderful event and we are all very happy everything went so well and we thank everyone who participated! Before we went Olivia had a bath and that is where this picture was taken...I took it to show off her curls, but you can't see them too well in this picture, but they are oh so cute!

Happy Thanksgiving!

There are so many things to be thankful for in life! I am guilty of finding the bad in life and letting it get to me far too often than I should. Things that I have learned as of late. Life has far too many things to celebrate than to spend time dwelling on the bad. Yes, there are hard things in life that get me (everyone) down, but instead of focusing on that I am going to try to focus on the good. For example, I have a beautiful baby girl who is healthy and for the most part happy! ;) I have a husband who loves me very much, and I have family and friends who are wonderful! I truely believe that God has a plan for us all and even though I often have a very hard time understanding it and excepting it, this is the truth and in the end everything always works out. For all of this I am thankful!

I find it wierd that everytime things get really tough something always comes around and helps us out. For example, I was really stressing out about being able to afford a breast pump, something that we really need but could not afford. Well, without even asking a very kind heart in my life offered for me to be able to borrow it...for FREE! Those of you who I talk to often knew how much I was stressing about this and for what? There has been many other examples of this, for example when I don't think that we will have enough money for groceries some how a gift card for the grocery store will show up :) Thank you...but it always happens to come when we need it the most and I do not know how this always works out, but it does! Sometimes when I am really feeling depressed and just wanting to talk to someone, but not having the want to call someone the phone will ring and I will have a kind heart on the other line, willing to listen :) It is crazy how things work out.

Olivia's first Thanksgiving was successful! She did a lot of sleeping, but she was also a very good little baby! I love that girl so much :)
