Happy Halloween!

Hello everyone!

So for those of you who know how hard it is to get a good photograph of an infant I thought that you may think that this is kinda funny!

Also there is one in there just to show off the cuteness of tinyness (I am aware both of these words may not really be words:)

Olivia's stats

So Olivia and I went to the Dr. yesterday! It sure is hard to get places these days :)

I should have already known this, but it is so different when it is your own baby. Also, formula is so much more convient than breast milk.

Anyway, our sweet baby girl is growing...well kind of...

new weight: 8lbs 1oz
new height: 19.5 in

yes I know this is one inch shorter than her birth length and that is why I said kind of....I'm sure she didn't actually shrink and it is just the difference in the person measuring.

But, Olivia and mommy are doing very well! We don't need to go to the Dr. until she is 2 mo old now! That would be Dec 7th! I can't believe that she is already almost three weeks old, that is almost one mo. :) I know Lance makes fun of me for saying this, but gosh time flys and I am excited for the future and to see her grow, but at the same time I love this stage so much!

Also, on a different note, does anyone know how to add music to your blog?

2 weeks old!

Wow time flies when your having fun! Little Miss Olivia is two weeks old already! We go to the Dr. on Thursday so we will see how she is doing! So far so good at home! She is a great little baby she is eating fine and sleeping fine too!

Here are some pictures, if you notice Mrs. Snail is going to be what we will take her picture next to occasionally to gage her growth!

1 week check up

So little Olivia is almost a week old already! Lance and I had some wonderful family time last night that consisted of just gazing at our beautiful little one! We were both thinking that we love her so much and don't want her to grow up (of course we do want her to because if she didn't she wouldn't be healthy...but you know what we mean!)

Olivia had her one week check up today and the Dr. gave us some good ideas to keep her milk down and it has worked today so far! I also never thought that a big poop would be the excitement of my day, but welcome to mommyhood! Sorry no call Sara, I guess I just was not thinking.

O is almost to her birth weight she is now 7lbs 4oz and in case I didn't mention yet as cute as ever!

Thank you everyone for your visits and gifts! I have a list of thank you's to make but have yet to actually make them. Life sure did get busy once she was born! But I wouldn't change anything!

She is sleeping pretty well thought the night, but wakes up for feedings but Lance does night duty so I wouldn't know too much. I think last night was a little hard for him, but he loves it all too!

I love to see all of you and please feel free to visit anytime as long as you are all feeling well!

Hello everyone!

We are all doing great! I did have a scare this morning or it may have been first time mommyness, but little Livie would not eat all night long. So I called the on call dr. and she gave me the brilliant idea to try a bottle (wow why didn't I think of that one?) It worked great! She has now been eating just fine all day so far!

Olivia went for her first walk yesterday! It was a very short walk since Mommy is still recovering and in quite a bit of pain, but just can't pass up such beautiful weather.

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Teesdale have been visiting this weekend along with Aunt Lou! It is great to see them all and share this wonderful time in our lives with them!

It seems that Olivia is adjusting to her home life in stride as are her mommy and daddy! Daddy is the most proud daddy alive and he will just sit and hold her/stare at her for hours on end! Seeing this just makes my heart melt!

Well, I have been taking pictures like a proud Mommy (like crazy) so here is a sample of some!
